I had a quick stay at City Tower in Fujairah and I saw both the good and the frustrating. The reception staff were accommodating and friendly. They allowed me a late check-out for free, which made my day much easier. The Standard King Room was spacious and comfortable. The location is top-notch, right in the heart of the city. A major downside was the nightclub noise. The bass from the disco was loud enough to make the floors vibrate, even on the 15th floor. It really disrupted my sleep. Breakfast was a mixed bag. There was a decent buffet selection, but some waiters interrupted during the meal for signatures, which felt a bit intrusive. I did love that the hotel felt safe and had a clean environment. If only they could manage the noise issue better, it would be a great place. Overall, it’s worth considering if you're just staying for a night or two and plan to be out exploring instead of hanging out in the room.

The Two-Bedroom Suite offered a spacious layout, which was perfect for families needing room to spread out. The dining facilities stood out with a diverse menu that could be accessed digitally at the reception—which is convenient but could use more variety.

The bed comfort left a lot to be desired, needing a bit more cushion for a restful night. Additionally, the kettle provided had an unpleasant odor, impacting the morning tea experience, and the refrigerator was bare, allowing for no snacks unless purchased. The elevator situation was rather cramped and annoyingly slow, with a musty smell that felt less than welcoming. Finally, a pool that’s both small and unheated doesn't do much to help in the heat, making relaxing dips a bit disappointing.

The spacious two-bedroom suite was perfect for our family. Activities like squash, sauna, and swimming kept everyone entertained.

Now, let's get real. The facilities felt ancient, like they hadn't been updated since the last millennium. I dealt with an old TV and a funky cupboard smell. It was rough bouncing between three different rooms—one even reeked of stale smoke!

I had a spacious room with a neat interior and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast buffet, but the dirty bathroom and malfunctioning amenities were really disappointing.

Clean room, friendly staff, the fitness centre was a great way to start the day with some exercise and the location made it easy to explore nearby attractions.
